And the rains didn't come down, but the floods did come up...

I've already been awake for 3 hours and it's 6:30 a.m.

I woke up this morning ever so nicely from my husband. I was disoriented because I hadn't heard my alarm.

"Sweetheart, a water main broke and we have to evacuate our home."

Isn't he nice? The next couple of hours were filled with rushing around trying to pick things off the ground so they didn't get ruined. We did a pretty good job and our bedroom was the room with the least water. Thank heavens. There will be pictures to follow, but I guess I had to write out something this morning because it doesn't seem quite real.
