The progress of our other vegerbles...

And Isla has nothing to do with our garden, but she came for a visit!

And this is out of order, but I have a very handsome gardener. More pictures to follow with his face in them. :)

Evolution

I'm not sure what all of you who actually read this know, but I've been through quite a battle over the last 5 years.

I'm sure if you've read previous posts you know I'm doing Weight Watchers--for the second time.

For those readers out there who have never fought the battle, let me tell you, it's not easy. Any skinny person that's ever looked at a fat person and thought, "Why doesn't that lazy bum get up and exercise or stop eating all those potato chips?"

That's not what all of us do.

I'm here to say, I'm not a lazy bum and no matter what everyone thought of me when I was younger. I did find someone to love me for all of me and I've changed my life.

So I created a little something for me and for you.

I've evolved.

Noah Lives Up to His Name

I didn't know when I married a man named Noah that in the two years we've been married it would have been nice to have that ark handy about 3 times. :)

For the third time in our marriage our apartment flooded and our apartment is being gutted. Needless to say, we are on the move!

Today we looked at so many apartments and spoke with a million different people, but we found a place and it's on the second floor, away from potential flood waters.

Sum...Sum...Summa' Time

First of all, I tried doing this yesterday and it wouldn't work. After about an hour of troubleshooting a discovered I was running out of room for my pictures! Ugh. So I decide to make it in to a book. After about 2 hours of editing and perfecting it, I did it all in the wrong layout. So I just printed out the first few blogs I've ever written and deleted them (in case you actually care about why my blog entries have gone missing). It was Noah's first suggestion anyway. Hate it when he's right...

Moving on--look what I made!

Only took me a year to finish it! Hah!
And look what we planted!

Lavendar, tomatoes, lettuce, carrots, jalepenos! Our herb garden has expanded as well with cilantro, rosemary, lemon thyme, and basil (again, it had better not die this time).
Also, we've gotten in to this Mayan chocolate craze since tasting The Sweet Tooth Fairy's delectable treats. So we made our own:

It was quite the experience. I combined like 4 recipes. It could do to be a little more moist, but the mini cupcakes are only 2 points a piece and it's nice and spicy!

So as you can see I'm making very good use of my time.
Why can't it always be summer???
