So last weekend Jessica and I took a trip to the thrift store and I found this fabulous little piece of goodness. It doesn't look like much now, but you just wait...
I took a short trip to Home Depot where I got:
-sand paper 100 grit
-ebony colored stain
Then I taped it off.
After I hung it up, I also painted on just a touch of gold acrylic on the little decorative pieces.
Voila! Now it sits above my sofa and it only cost me $10.
