Apparently our neighbors had "come in to some cakes" and decided to share. We especially enjoyed the following gummy sharks eating the gummy bear. Note the blood.
And today, after seeing Sara's beautiful yard I just couldn't help myself when I got home Noah and I took a trip to Wal-Mart and bought planting materials. The flowers in the back are from Wendy, the ones on the left Noah and I bought at Wal-Mart, and the ones on the right are from our landlord's son.
This would be our jalapeno plant.
And here is our tomato and basil, with soon to be rosemary. Also pictured is the mint that our landlord has graciously left in upon request.
It was FANTASTIC. I felt like a proud parent looking at all our little plants. I really want to get a gardening can so I can feel like a true gardener. Oh summer, how I love you.
